Angels Rise Vineyard
Clarendon stands out as a truly distinctive area within McLaren Vale. Nestled in the high slopes near the boundary of the Adelaide Hills, it is significantly cooler than other areas of McLaren Vale. Atop the picturesque town of Clarendon lies the Angels Rise Vineyard, a truly remarkable parcel of land that boasts exceptional terroir and mature vines.
In January 2019, the Angove family quietly acquired this jewel in the crown of the region. The vineyard spans 12.8 hectares and sits at an elevation of over 310 metres above sea level. Predominantly planted with Shiraz, it has a history of producing wines that are renowned for their opulence, liveliness, and elegance.
