The Anchorage
The Anchorage range of wines remembers the bygone era when the mighty steam ships plied the River Murray as a vital link in Australia’s early transport system, frequently dropping anchor to load up with vital supplies. At the turn of the century many producers along the river relied on these mighty vessels to transport wine, fruit, wool and grain to Murray Bridge, South Australia, where it was on-forwarded by rail to capital cities and Ports to be exported around the world. The Anchorage range remembers those early days when things moved more slowly but with great purpose.
